About Tilio

Tilio lets you capture notes and ideas quickly, and then develop them into articles, books or presentations. You can think of it as a hybrid between a note-taking app, an idea organizer and a document editor.

What makes Tilio special

Tilio is different from some of the popular word processors, such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Instead of writing in a linear flow, Tilio gives you a spatial overview of all your notes and ideas, which you can then organize through drag-and-drop.

You can use Tilio for all your writing – from jotting down random thoughts, to writing books or academic papers. Here are some examples of how Tilio can be used:

  • Capturing and organizing notes, thoughts, and ideas
  • Writing articles, essays, blog posts or academic papers
  • Preparing presentations and workshops
  • Planning and managing large writing projects
  • Journaling or keeping a diary

Tilio is available as a desktop app for Mac and Windows and a mobile app for Android and iOS. We’re now in Closed-Alpha phase with friends and family. Let us know if you'd like to get early access.

The current version of Tilio is free.
